The Knavesmire ranks as several jockeys’
favourite racecourse. August’s Ebor festival is the
highlight of the second half of the flat season in Britain.
This festival is often called the Ascot of the north with
the ladies dressing up for the occasion and the very high
standards of racing.
CEC Pavilions
Our luxury pavilions are situated in the centre
of the course near to the winning post. A perfect position
to see all the racing, mingle amidst the fashions, watch the
bookmakers and visit the parade ring, which is close by. Each
pavilion has its own small private garden to sit outside and
absorb the atmosphere, listening to the jazz band playing.
Private pavilions are available for a minimum of 30 guests
or for smaller groups private tables of 10 or shared tables
can be made in our shared facility.
Executive Box in the Knavesmire Stand
Our executive boxes accommodate 24 guests privately
offering fantastic hospitality during your visit for the York
Ebor. Our Executive box for the Ebor Meeting is situated on
the fourth floor of the Knavesmire Stand and has the advantage
of a private outside viewing balcony with views of the racecourse
and winning post.
